Pionorm 30 MG Tablet is an anti-diabetic medicine used to control high blood sugar levels in type II Diabetes Mellitus (when your body cannot use the insulin it makes effectively to move sugar from the blood into the cells). This medicine works by improving your body’s response to insulin (a chemical substance that helps control blood sugar levels) and lowering the production of sugar in the liver.
Pionorm 30 MG Tablet has some side effects like headache, muscle pain, stuffy nose, sore throat, low blood sugar levels, weight gain, etc. Consult your doctor if they bother you for a longer time or worsen.
Pionorm-30 is used for an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycaemic control in patients with type II diabetes (NIDDM). Pionorm-30 is used for monotherapy and also used for use in combination with sulphonylurea, Metformin or Insulin when diet and exercise plus the single agent does not result in adequate glycaemic control.
Pionorm-30 is also used to associated treatment for these conditions: Diabetes, Diabetic Neuropathies, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.
