Acufix 50 MG Suspension is an antibiotic medicine that contains cefixime as an active ingredient. It is used to treat bacterial infections affecting the lungs, throat, and urinary tract (kidneys, bladder, ureters, or urethra). It is also used to treat a sexually transmitted infection called gonorrhoea that infects both men and women. This suspension kills or stops the growth of bacteria that causes infection. It is not effective against infections caused by viruses.
